WELCOME KINDERGARTEN FAMILIES!

Dear Kindergarten Families,

Welcome to Collierville Elementary School!  We are so excited to meet our new Little Dragons.  They are joining a long line of former Little Dragons who have gone on to do incredible things.  CES is the oldest school in our district and carries a long line of traditions both old and new.  We cannot wait for our new Little Dragons to join the magic of CES where they will be seen and loved.

Please mark your calendars for the important upcoming dates:

Orientation Day - Monday, August 5; 7:30 AM - 12:00 PM and 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM
All families must attend Orientation in order to sign up for staggered day (see below). If you haven't registered your child yet, you can do so during this event. Additionally, you can pay instructional fees, purchase chair bags, join the PTA, sign up for Y-Care, and buy House gear, among other things!

Staggered Entry - August 8, 9, 11, 12
During Orientation Day, parents/guardians will sign up for a staggered day for their child.  Each kindergartener will come on one of the four stagger days in order to help them transition and learn expectations in a smaller group setting.  Parents may walk their child to the classroom on this day.

Teacher Reveal Day - August 14; 1:00 - 3:00 PM or 5:00 - 6:00 PM
Families will receive a call on the evening of August 13 or morning of August 14 from their child's teacher.  Families can then bring their child to meet the teacher on August 14 at the designated times.  It's a great time to drop off school supplies as well!

1st Day for all Kindergarteners and Kindergarten Coffee - August 15
This is the first day for all of our kindergarteners!  Parents may walk their child to the classroom and then join us in the cafeteria for a welcome from our PTA and Admin staff. Parking is available in the back or side (on Burrows) parking lots. Please avoid the front parking lot.
