The National Weather Service has issued an Ice Storm Warning for all of Shelby County, beginning at midnight tonight and continuing through midnight tomorrow. Slick roadways, tree damage, and power outages due to ice accumulation are all predicted. Given the potential severity of this weather event, all Collierville Schools will be closed tomorrow, February 3rd.
As a result of this closure, all extracurricular activities on Thursday will be cancelled. The parent education event, “The Emotional Effects of Social Media,” scheduled for tomorrow evening at Collierville High School, has been postponed until March 3rd. Stay warm and safe!
